• 0.1 Las bolsas de quillagua y su relación con el tráfico de caravanas.

    Abstract:
Taking as starting point the frequency of domestic bags in funerary contexts of the Late Intermediate Period, I attempt to link this textile form with the traffic of caravans. In doing so, the general formulations of the caravan mobility and ethnographic information regarding the trips of caravans are analysed as to show the active role that talegas and sacks play in the productive activities that make possible such traffic, as in its materialization. Later on, a characterization of archaeological domestic bags is offered and an analysis of Quillagua is attempted, looking for material referents of the activity with special emphasis in talegas and sacks.
